"I first met Brandon Perrault four years ago on one of my early visits to Grant County. I was talking with families in the mining district about re-making the film "Salt of the Earth," and it seemed that everyone wanted me to meet Brandon. I was told that he was a musician and a singer, but it was obvious that he was something more than that. Everyone loved Brandon, not only for his music, but for his spirit.
In the years since then, I have come to know Brandon as a gifted artist, and as a dear friend. He is a man of great character and humility, and I believe an immensely talented musician. His sensitivity is inspiring, his sense of humor infectious. Quite simply, it has been a great joy and privilege for me to have worked with Brandon during these years."
